Kids & Youth

Hope offers a place for children and youth to learn about God and have fun together on Wednesday nights & Sundays.  AWANA and Youth Group are on Wednesday nights and Sunday school for all ages.

AWANA

Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed taken from 2 Timothy 2:15. AWANA's goal is to teach students about the love of God, so they come to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ as Lord.  AWANA is offered for many ages:

Puggles (age 2-3)

Cubbies (ages 3-4)

Sparks (Kindergarten - grade 2)

Truth & Training (grades 3-6)

AWANA meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 during the school year.  After an opening time the children split into our various clubs: Puggles, Cubbies, Sparks, and Truth & Training.  We rotate with group teaching time, individual one-on-one time with a leader to review the lessons learned that week, and game time.  Some weeks we have special events and Theme nights.

The focus of the curriculum is on the presentation of the gospel and Scripture memorization.  For each student, the components of the program include:

a handbook that allows each child to learn at their own pace;

a uniform shirt or vest, and;

awards that are earned as the student successfully completes the requirements of a section of the handbook, usually including Scripture memorization.

Please contact the church office at 402-573-5407 if you would like more information.
