Corpus Verum
The college and career age young adults meet weekly on Sunday evening at 7:00 for "Corpus Verum" (Body of Truth) to discuss contemporary Christian topics. Currently they're meeting at Michael Engelkemeier's apartment. Please call the church office at 402-573-5407 for more information.
Junior High
Welcome to Hope Evangelical Free Church's Jr. High Program! We're excited to have you visit!
Our program features several kinds of events:
Sunday School - a Sunday morning event focused on Biblical studies
Youth Group - a Wednesday night program from 6:30 top 8:30 during the school year
Blasts - Monthly "big" outreach events
Senior High
The senior high ministry is led by Andy Mayo and meets together on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
Sunday morning
In-depth Bible study takes place Sunday morning from 11:15-12:15 in the youth wing.
Youth Group
The senior high students meet Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:30 for games, informal fellowship and Bible study at the church.
Ministry Opportunities
The senior high were involved in an inner-city missions trip to Denver, Colorado in 2007, a reconstruction project in Greensburg, Kansas in 2008 and a missions trip to Mexico City in June, 2009. In 2010 there were opportunities for them to serve at the Open Door Mission and in a local outreach to teens. Some senior high students also serve as junior cabin leaders at Timberlake Ranch Camps in the summer.
We were excited to send 14 youth and sponsors to the Twin Cities in July of 2011 to work with an inner-city church in BUMP (Bridging Urban Ministry Project)!
The youth are also welcome to participate in the various ministries of the church.
